- Utilize memory features to program public safety department phone numbers.
- Maintain awareness of your surroundings so you are able to give authorities an accurate description.
Know your location:
- Community / County you are calling from
- Mile marker numbers
- Street Names / Addresses / Intersections
- Landmarks
Be prepared to report:
- Exact location of the emergency
- Type of emergency
- Your name
- Telephone Number you are calling from
- Stay Calm and never hang up until instructed to do so.
