Adult Egg Hunt

Thursday, April 1, 8 pm

Adults, 21 and over are invited to participate in this event. The hunt requires individuals to search for plastic eggs, at night, in the woods using flashlights. Eggs will correspond to prizes and a "golden" egg will contain bigger prizes. Drinks will be available for additional purchase. Bring your flashlights and baskets. Cost is $5 per person. This event will sell out, so sign up early!

 


Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

You and your family are welcome to join the Easter Bunny for a great breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuit, and drink.  Cost is $5 for those over the age of 6. Non-residents may register beginning on March 15th at a cost of $10 for those over the age of 6 years.

 


Candy Scramble

Saturday, April 3

The Easter Bunny will greet the children and be available for pictures at the 19th annual Candy Scramble. Get your children a big basket and make your way out to the Fitness Center. Every child will receive a plastic egg, and some lucky children will receive a ticket redeemable for bigger prizes inside their plastic egg.
Important Note: Please have your children lined up 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled time. We will start on time.
Ages 2-4 years old = 11:30a

Wet Egg Hunt

Fitness Center Pool

Children ages 9-12 years old will have to put on their swim suits to gather their Easter eggs. This event will involve children collecting plastic eggs that will be scattered throughout the pool. Make sure that you are ready to go by 12:15 pm. Eggs will be in shallow and deep water so that all swimming abilities will be accommodated. Parents must stay out of the water. FREE

 


Bogsucker Strut 5K

Saturday, April 3, 10 am

This 5K race will begin and end at the Twinsburg Fitness Center. For ages 14 years and up. Pre-registration-$15; Race Day Registration-$20. Race day registration begins at 8 am.  1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive awards in each age group.  Sport Cinch Bags to all runners (we're going shirtless).  Chip Timed by Chaney Event Management.  Out and back Course Map.  Register online or at the Twinsburg Fitness Center at 10084 Ravenna Rd., Twinsburg, Ohio  44087 (behind Twinsburg High School.  Application can be download to the right.

Rick Nolze River Clean-Up day

Saturday, May 15

Our 17th annual Rick Nolze River Run will once again launch from Baldwin Park. On your 2 1/2 hour trek to East Idlewood Park, we ask that you help clean up the creek as best you can. All participants MUST pre-register no later than May 4 at 4:30 pm. There will be a maximum of 2 adults per canoe. Launching of canoes will begin at 9:30 and continue every 10 minutes. Upon registering, you will be assigned a time slot. Cost is $20 per canoe.

Please note:
All participants must park at Glenmeadow Park and ride the shuttle to Baldwin Park. The 1st shuttle will depart Glenmeadow at 9:15a. Please make sure that you arrive at Glenmeadow Park approx. 20 minutes before your scheduled launch time. Following the run, you will be shuttled from East Idlewood Park to Glenmeadow Park. Twinsburg Parks and Recreation will provide life jackets, paddles, and canoes. If using your own equipment, you may call 330-963-8722 to register and receive your time slot. If the weather is questionable or the creek is too high, this event may be cancelled. Please call the Fitness Center at 330-405-5757 to check.
