PART-TIME KID PARK ATTENDANT
Compensation: $8.05 p/h to $9.79 p/h

POSITION SUMMARY
Supervises children in the care of Twinsburg Fitness Center Kid Park including assisting in the planning, organizing and implementation of all functions of the Kid Park within the Twinsburg Fitness Center. Maintains a healthy, safe and caring environment for kids in the Park. Leads daily schedule of activities for infants, toddlers, and youth in the Kid Park. Directs users in all policies and procedures established for the efficient use of the Kid Park. Maintains updated health and emergency records on all participants in the Kid Park. Interacts with users to encourage maximum proper use of all facilities.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one (1) year job-related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Must possess current, valid Red Cross First Aid and CPR.

PART-TIME LIFEGUARD
Compensation $8.05 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
Supervises swimmers at the both indoor and outdoor Municipal Pools, takes lifesaving action when needed, assists in teaching swim lessons, may assist in coaching swim team, maintains proper conduct of public in all areas of pool facility and interacts with users to encourage maximum proper use of all facilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Some High school, diploma or equivalency.
Minimum of one (1) month related training in water safety instruction or life savings; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must possess current valid, Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, First Aid and CPR Certification.
WSI Certification preferred

PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER
Compensation $19.05 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
Enforces local and state laws, directs traffic, assists with public events including crowd control, provides citizens with information regarding their rights, assists with the care and custody of prisoners, transports evidence, individuals and prisoners as needed, books prisoners and conducts security checks, searches and inspects prisoners for safety and well-being, prepares and maintains daily work logs, reports and classified records, escorts inmates. Communicates and works with other patrol officers, law enforcement agencies, medical, legal, school or city personnel and/or others as necessary. Maintains and increases knowledge and skills through attendance at meetings, conferences, training seminars and in-service training sessions. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalency.
Successful completion of Law Enforcement Officer Training Program as prescribed by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy.
United States citizen.
At least twenty-one (21) years of age at time of appointment.
Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC
Compensation: $16.46 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides emergency medical care and fire prevention and protection to the community by responding to emergency medical situations, responding to fires, performing hazardous situation control, maintaining vehicle readiness and performing vehicle and equipment testing and maintenance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must possess a valid current State of Ohio Medic Certification, CPR and ACLS Card.
Must have a valid 1B, 1C or 240 hours Ohio Firefighters Certification.
Must possess a Valid License and a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age at time of appointment.
No felony convictions of crimes or moral turpitude.
Proof of certification of Firefighter Physical Agility test from Cuyahoga Community College within the past year, with time of five (5) minutes or less. (Call (216) 987-5092 to register)
Any Akron Firefighters that apply for Part-Time employment can substitute the annual City of Akron. Ohio Firefighter/Medic Physical Ability test in lieu of the Tri-C test.
Must reside within twenty-five (25) mile radius of the Twinsburg Fire District borders.
Must successfully complete a Background Check and Medical exam including drug screen, before being appointed.
