The City of Twinsburg is a 13.73 square mile city located in the northwest corner of Summit County, Ohio midway between Akron and Cleveland. The city is generally a residential community consisting of single family dwellings, apartments and several senior citizen complexes. The population is roughly 18,000 (2004). The surrounding communities are the City of Solon, the City of Hudson, the Village of Reminderville, Twinsburg Township and the City of Macedonia. The City is home to a municipal golf course, three shopping plazas, five public schools and a large industrial tract in the southwestern third of the community. The City has 4 large community parks and 16 smaller neighborhood parks for a total of 1,450 acres of City owned parkand.
