Rick Nolze River Run
|
|
|
|
Saturday, May 17 Our 13th annual Rick Nolze River Run will once again launch from Baldwin Park. On your 2 1/2 hour trek to East Idlewood Park, we ask that you help clean up the creek as best you can. All participants MUST pre-register in person at the Activity Center no later than May 12 at 4:30 pm. There will be a maximum of 2 adults per canoe. Launching of canoes will begin at 9:15, 9:30 & 10 am. Upon registering, you will be assigned a time slot. Cost is only $2/adult and $1/child. Please note: All participants must park at Glenmeadow Park and ride the shuttle to Baldwin Park. The 1st shuttle will depart Glenmeadow at 9am. Please make sure that you arrive at Glenmeadow Park approx. 20 minutes before your scheduled launch time. Following the run, you will be shuttled from East Idlewood Park to Glenmeadow Park. Twinsburg Parks and Recreation will provide life jackets, paddles, and canoes. If using your own equipment, you may call 330-963-8722 to register and receive your time slot. If the weather is questionable or the creek is too high, this event may be cancelled. Please call the Fitness Center at 330-405-5757 if you are uncertain. This event is sponsored by Subway of Twinsburg.

Day-2-Day 5K for the Relay
|
|
|
|
Friday, May 30 at 6pm thru Saturday, may 31 at nnon Twinsburg Tiger Stadium Organized by the Twinsburg Fitness Center, all proceeds donated to Relay for Life. Registration $10 Pre-Registered Runners will receive a t-shirt Awards for each age group

Movies Under the Stars

It’s showtime at the Perici Amphitheater at Glenn Chamberlin Park this summer. Bring the kids, grandma and grandpa, aunts and uncles, cousins and neighbors, through the summer to enjoy a great outdoor movie on a giant screen. Showtimes will begin at dusk (8:45p-9:15p). FREE!! Pool Parties at the Waterpark

Join us at the pool for live entertainment, food, drinks, games and more. The pool will be closed to the general public, and only ticketed participants will be allowed. Cost: $5 Resident adults (13&up) $3 Residents 3-12 years. Non residents may attend for an additional $3 per ticket. June 13, 6:30-8:30 pm Band TBA and August 8, 6:30-8:30pm Band TBA

Christmas in July

Friday, July 25 12-3p Come celebrate Christmas in July at the Outdoor Pool on July 25. There will be holiday music & games all day long. There will even be special appearances by Santa throughout the day. Don’t miss the fun. Daily fees apply.

Senior Picnic

Friday, August 22, noon All city residents age 55 and better are invited to participate in this great annual event. Join us at Glen Chamberlin Park for great food, socializing, prizes, music, and bingo. Pre-registration is required and this event fills up quickly. Please call 330-963-8722 with you question and to find out when registration will begin. Cost: $5/person.

Olde Tyme Fayre

Saturday, September 6, 11a-5p Join us for the 6th annual event that brings our community together. We’ll have grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, Farmer’s Market, Twinsburg Historical events, refreshments, stage coach rides, pony rides, petting zoo, live entertainment, children’s games, and lots of fun. 6th Annual Doggy Paddle
|
|
|
|
Sunday, September 7 , 9a-1p Outdoor Pool Time to let the dogs have their day in the pool. Please remember this is not an open swim. Therefore, leave the bathing suits, goggles, etc at home. No human swimming allowed. Dogs must remain on a leash and owners must clean up after their dog. Cost is $2/dog at the door with 1/2 the proceeds benefiting the APL.

Tot Jock Olympics
|

|
|
Sunday, September 14, 2-3p Ages 3-6 at the TFC Come join us with your tot as they compete in track, field and sporting events. Each participant will receive a certificate and a medal. You must register at the front desk by September 12. Space is limited for this free event.
