Finance Department
The Finance Department ensures fiscal accountability and an accurate presentation of the city's financial status. Specifically, the department is responsible for safeguarding records of all assets and liabilities. The Finance Department services the public and city employees and provides internal support services to all city departments and offices.
Additionally, the department is accountable for budget monitoring, general accounting, preparation of financial reports, overseeing Twinsburg's annual financial audit, payroll, managing investments of public funds, and analysis of revenues and expenditures. All of these roles are executed while abiding by the Ohio Revised Code, City Ordinances, and Charter.
The Finance Department is comprised of 4 full-time members: a Finance Director, a Senior Accountant (accounts payable and receivable) an Accountant I (payroll) and an Executive Assistant to the Finance Director.
