Our Facilities

Indoor Pool: The 326,000 gallon indoor pool located at Twinsburg Fitness Center includes two one-meter diving boards, an indoor slide, five water sprays, six swimming lanes of either 25 yards or 25 meters, shallow-depth teaching and recreational area. The pool is open to TFC members in addition to being used for swim lessons and competitive meets.

Outdoor Water Park: The Twinsburg Outdoor Water Park offers our youth and adult residents an array of amenities and features that rivals other community and private facilities in the area. You can’t beat a day in the sun with our huge water slide, an affordable concession stand, and an outstanding family atmosphere. Make a splash with a season pass this summer! Learn to Swim - Quality Instruction, Affordable Rates!

The following course descriptions and schedules cover ALL swim lessons offered. Please note that as the levels progress, it is not unusual for a child to repeat a level several times. Remember that each child is unique and is evaluated on their swimming ability, not age. If you are not sure about what level to place your child into;  please feel free to ask the Aquatic Manager and staff. Please observe all swimming lessons from the pool balcony. Swim Lessons

  • Parent and Child 1/Water Discovery (Ages 6 Months-3 Years): This introductory level class focuses on acclimating children to the pool environment, helping them gain confidence with water on their face and body. Caregivers will learn alongside their children, mastering basic safety skills. 
  • Parent and Child 2/Water Exploration (Ages 6 Months-3 Years): This level transitions from simple adjustment to active exploration. We focus on independent movement and fundamental swimming motions while keep the environment fun and familiar.  
  • Preschool Beginner (Ages 3-5): I cannot put my face in the water, need support to float, and want to become more comfortable in the water.
  • Preschool Advanced (Ages 3-5): I can put my face in the water and am comfortable being in the pool. I am ready to start trying some swimming skills independently.
  • Preschool Super Kids (Ages 3-5): I passed preschool advanced. I understand the basics of floating, kicking, and swimming and am ready to begin swimming independently and floating on my back.

School Age (6 & Older)

  • Level 1: I want to be more comfortable in the water. I will need support to learn to float and swim independently. 
  • Level 2: I can go underwater. I do not need support to float or swim. I am ready to swim front crawl and tread independently. 
  • Level 3: I can swim front crawl 20 feet and tread without assistance. I am ready to learn elementary backstroke. I am ready to begin to combine multiple skills in a sequence while swimming such as treading, floating, and changing direction 
  • Level 4: I can swim the full 25-yard length of the pool using front crawl or elementary backstroke. I am ready to build endurance and learn breaststroke.
  • Level 5: I can swim the full 50-yard lap of the pool using front crawl and elementary backstroke. I can swim 15-yards of breaststroke. I am ready to ready to begin diving from the pool edge and learn back crawl.
