FACILITIES UPDATES:

TWINSBURG FITNESS CENTER

The Twinsburg Fitness Center opens on Monday, June 1. To view the new COVID-19 operating guidelines please click here. Only those members who are at least 16 years old and who WANT to reactivate their membership need to complete the Membership Reactivation Form. All others will continue to have their membership frozen for now. Membership Reactivation Forms can be emailed, faxed, or dropped off during the Customer Service Hours. The new Customer Service Hours are the times to call with questions, purchase memberships, drop off forms, etc. All this information can be found on the website.

TWINSBURG WATER PARK

The outdoor pool will open on June 15.  The COVID-19 operating guidelines will be released soon.

Twinsburg Youth Summer Camp

Youth Summer Camp is cancelled.  Although the regulations allow summer camps, the strict COVID-19 guidelines prevent us from offering a robust program that we are used to and accommodating over 200 campers and 40 staff.

Twinsburg Community Gardens

The gardens have not been affect by the COVID-19 pandemic.  However, our staffing numbers and rainfall have delayed the opening of the gardens.  We hope to have the gardens open around May 29th.

Twinsburg Dog Park

The Dog Park is open with current social distancing measures in place.

Tennis Courts

The 3 city owned tennis courts (Chamberlin Park and Birchwood Park) are currently open with current social distancing measures in place.  The tennis courts next to the outdoor pool are owned and operated by the Twinsburg School District.

Pickleball Courts

The Pickleball Courts located at Glenmeadow Park are currently open with current social distancing measures in place.

Playgrounds

All city playgrounds are currently closed until the Governor or the Summit County Health Department allows playgrounds to open.

Basketball Courts

All city basketball courts are currently closed until the Governor or the Summit County Health Department allows these courts to open.

Park Restrooms

All park restrooms remain closed.  Currently, the COVID-19 guidelines require us to clean and sanitize the restrooms every 2 hours.  This is not possible at this time.  When these guidelines change we will decide if we can open the park restrooms.

Shelter and Community Rentals

Rentals will all be evaluated a month in advance of the booked rental.  Currently (5/27/20), the guidelines allow for rentals, but with extremely strict regulations.  Until these regulations are relaxed, we will cancel all rentals a month in advance.
